The presence of free Wi-Fi in each room allowed for uninterrupted connectivity, essential for remote meetings and collaboration. The staff, while not overly effusive, were prompt and helpful, particularly in the dining area where we could indulge in a varied and tasty menu, catering to diverse dietary needs. Access to lounge areas provided a relaxed space for informal discussions and networking. I appreciated the tranquil garden, which became a valuable outlet for breaks between sessions. With options for recreational activities like cycling or billiards, we balanced work with leisure effectively. Though not extravagant, the George offers a functional setting for corporate events and meetings, making it a suitable choice for those seeking a productive retreat in Sri Lanka's serene highlands.
